We're pretty fortunate to live where we do. British Columbia is a beautiful province, and Coquitlam is somewhat of a hidden gem. The rain can be a bit much, but it's not the worst thing either. We've got walking, biking and hiking trails all around us, lakes, rivers and streams are nearby, we're surrounded by mountains and just a couple of minutes to the ocean.
All in all it's pretty amazing inspiration for painting.
But we also live in a world that takes a lot of this beauty for granted, and where not everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. It's why we're donating 10% of the profits from everything we sell to organizations that are trying to protect our environment and make a difference in our community, including the Take a Hike Foundation, Colour the Trails and Power to Be.

Take a Hike Foundation
The Take a Hike Foundation engages vulnerable youth in a full-time program of intensive and continuous clinical counselling, outdoor adventure, academics, and community. They partner with public school districts who provide a high quality education, and together empower youth with the skills and resilience they need to graduate high school, build healthy relationships, and navigate their own path to success.
Colour the Trails
Colour the Trails advocates for inclusive representation in outdoor spaces, working with brand partners, businesses, and organizations to break barriers and create accessibility. They subsidize outdoor adventures, create diverse content, and are actively working with our allies to create the change we want to see in the world.
Power to Be
Power To Be is a non-profit organization that creates access to nature for youth, families, and adults living with cognitive, physical, financial, and social barriers.
